Dr. John Wah received his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine, graduating with summa cum laude honors. He completed his residency program in Internal Medicine at Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC) in Towson, Maryland, where he served as Chief Resident during his final year. Since 2014, Dr. Wah has been a primary care doctor in Westminster, Maryland, which also happens to be his home town. Dr. Wah works as an attending physician at a local subacute rehabilitation center and also takes care of patients in the long-term care facility. Dr. Wah looks forward to taking part in this historic time of medical marijuana, educating patients its potential benefits and, most importantly, seeing an improvement in the quality of lives of many.
Shannon has her Bachelor's degree from Frostburg State University and is now working towards becoming a nurse practitioner. She strongly believes in alternative medicine and a natural approach to medicine as she had titanium rods placed in her back at the age of seventeen.
Shannon has worked in Primary Care for twelve years and strives to form trusting relationships with the patients, and always brings her quirky sense of humor to Maryland Cannabis Physicians! In her free time, she enjoys being with her rescue Chihuahua Coco, friends, and traveling.
